Welcome to India.

The trip went well. After a very early start I slept on most of the flight to Zürich. On the longer trip I watched two bad movies and read for a while.

I got picked up at the airport from the hotel pickup service. The hotel in Mumbai was not really nice, and the AC and the street was so loud, so I had to sleep with earplugs for the first time ever. India might make that happen again.

Today I took a bus to Pune and found my way to Lally's house where I'll be staying. There is a Spanish girl that has been staying here for a month that is leaving tomorrow. She and I went out to buy food and breakfast for tomorrow and am now watching TV.

Tomorrow I'll meet up with Sujit, my contact person at Parisar, the NGO that I'm working with, and probably going in to downtown Pune to look for a suitable area to work with.

If you want to send me a letter or card:

I've send my updated (and possibly final) version of my program to my supervisors and am now looking for numbers on carbon dioxide emissions from different types of vehicles.

I've also prepared a Lynch analysis, and am getting ready to return some of the books that I've borrowed at the university library in Uppsala.
